Among the highlights, Ramon Magsaysay Awardee, acclaimed Indian Carnatic vocalist, writer, and activist T.M. Krishna will take center stage, enchanting the #BBLF2025 audience with an evening of soulful music. His performance promises to be a defining moment of the festival.
Beyond his mesmerizing music, T.M. Krishna will also lead insightful sessions on Sangam Literature and his acclaimed book, Sebastian & Sons. Get ready for a day-long jugalbandi with the maestro- an experience that promises to be both intellectually enriching and artistically inspiring.

Having attended many literary festivals in India and abroad, I can unhesitatingly say that the Book Brahma Lit fest is one of the best-organized festivals. Being the first festival dedicated to four South Indian languages presents both a challenge and an opportunity. The first such festival faced various challenges and succeeded in bringing together authors and publishers from many languages. The themes for the fest were chosen carefully, and they could attract large crowds. I wish the second edition all the success.
I am thrilled that #BBLF is holding its second edition on the 8th, 9th, and 10th of August 2025 at St. John’s Auditorium in Bengaluru. As a participant in the first edition, it brings together representatives of all the major languages of South India. When I say significant, I don’t mean only the four languages but also the languages spoken by collectives, tribes, and small communities, which contribute to growth and quality from year to year. It is a great pleasure to be in Bengaluru during those days. I am sure there will be many more writers this time, including those not represented in the last edition. I wish BBLF-2 all the best.
